Lower Lake

Gord and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend camping with Sally and Jay at Lower Lake Campground in Kananaskis. This morning before we started packing up I took a walk along the lake in hopes of getting a nice mountain shot. This shot looked great in color, but I've chosen to post the black & white version instead because I like how dramatic it looks.

Levi and his Log

Levi loves to fetch logs in the water and for him the bigger the better. While Gord, Sally, Jay and I enjoyed some sunshine and suds at Lower Lake in Kananaskis Levi had lots of fun fetching this piece of driftwood (that we guessed to weigh 30 lbs) from the lake. It amazes me that even now at almost 10 years of age he still has so much strength and power in his jaw.

I found this old shed in a junk yard right in here in the middle of Airdrie. There was a lot of cool junk around and I'm thinking it would make a great place for an engagement photo shoot.
